Sign Posts and Fixings

A range of posts are held in stock up to 7.5 meters in length.

Steel posts are the most widely used and come finished in a PVC plastic coating. These posts are used on larger sign panels where a longer length may be required, up to 7.5 metres in length.

To complement the posts a range of base plates, for installing posts below ground level, and plastic caps are available from stock.

Post Clips and Fixings

Stainless steel clips complete with nuts, bolts and washers, are a strong durable method of attaching sign panels to posts.

Standard single bolt clips are available for fixing sign blanks to posts up to 114 mm diameter.

For larger diameter posts heavy duty 2 bolt "D" clips are available from stock for posts up to 273 mm diameter.

When sign panels are to be installed in unusual places and a standard sign clip is not suitable, a stainless steel banding systems is alternative fixing method.

Stainless steel banding is available in both 13 and 19 mm widths and comes on standard 30 meter rolls. Universal channel clamps are clipped into the fixing channel, the steel banding is then threaded through the channel clamp and wrapped around the post. The banding is then tensioned using a tension tool and a buckle clip is crimped to hold it in place.
